Capesthorne Catches

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

The season kicked off on Capesthorne last week; torrential downpours for three days made fishing a bit grim on the Top Pool with little showing, so I did several sorties on the Main Lake and managed to stalk four cracking fish of; 14lb 2oz, 18lb 4oz, 19lb 14oz and 25lb 4oz. All were taken on worm, the three smaller fish off the bottom and the 25 off the top, with the worm placed on the edge of a lily pad. The session was really hard going so I was well pleased with the result. :)

Pictures are all self-take using my 99p mini tripod of ebay! I’m going back on tonight for a few hours and can’t wait!

Nice one, Jules.

The one off the pads must be worth an article all by itself!!!
