landing net spreaders

are spreaders universal to fit most nets?or are they different sizes seen one on e bay with inserts but does not say what size they are.i'm new to coarse fishing, :confused:

Howdy howdy and welcome. Are you asking whether all net arms (spreaders) are the same size ? If so, the answer is 'no' However whatever the size of the spreaders there will be a corresponding net that you can buy to match it.

its not the spreader, it must be a spreader block i need,any more advice?

Do you have a net or just parts of a net ?

Unless the holes in the speader block are smaller than the arms, most spreader blocks will fit most arms.

 

This is because the arms are held under tension by the drawcord. Even if the hole in the block is quite a bit bigger than the arms, this tension will usually ensure the arms don't pop out when you don't want them to.
