Now seriously though, you could try:-

 

Kevin Nash used to do an additive called `Sting`.

This has an aniseedy smell. I read somewhere that this additive could attract pull commons, many many flavours/additives for some reason do not.

 

Seeing as it has this reputation, it could be worth a try at catching something different...

How do you mean?

 

I thought Ghost Koi were simply the result of cross breeding mirrors, leathers, and commons, with either Platinum Ogon (white koi) or Yamabuki Ogon (yellow koi), thus they are as likely to be mirrors as commons, or are the Ogon all commons :confused:

 

I’ve only ever caught ghost mirrors, mainly leathers and linears.

a lake i fish has a good head of ghostiesand they eat the same as all the other carp.biggest to waterman last year 22lb on peparami hot one i think.im using trigga and fluoro pop up green zing seems to be ok so far .cheers big al
