Hi Guys - I live in the states but do some international fishing. Hoping to do more in years to come.

Thanks, Newt. I see you're from NC. Every fish offshore there? Incredible fishery! I try to go a few times a year.

Bret - I'm more of a freshwater guy even with 27 years in seagoing jobs (Navy & Coast Guard) and my only sea fishing here has been an occasional bit of beach or pier work when I lived in Elizabeth City and was reasonably close to the coast.

 

In fact, the last time I was in a boat to fish salt water was several years ago when my wife & I made a trip to the UK to finally meet some of the folks I've known from this forum for the past 9 years.
