barbel in lincolnshire

Hi hope everyone is ok, just wondered if any one can help me find any good spots for fishing for barbel in the river witham or in deed any other river in lincolnshire, I have never been fishing for barbel and it is one of a few specimens that i have yet to catch, if anyone can help this would be much appreciated,

I have no idea , but Google is probably your friend ;)

Just put +barbel +witham or +barbel +lincolnshire nto a search and you might be pleasantly surprised. Catching my first barbel was my second biggest angling thrill, after that first pike.

Thanks very much I will definately do that,just got the angling times today and it tells me of a spot near nottingham,bit far for me to travel but will keep looking

WHERE DO YOU LIVE , and do you have transport

 

Scunthorpe police angling club has some nice waters on the Trent, Lady Pitt Farm near Newark about 18 miles from Lincoln. Then there's the River Don around Doncaster way behind the prison.

I live in a little village called south kyme I have a car so travelling to newark is no probem, thanks
