Goachers of Maidstone do a nice mild (so I'm told) bit too light for me I prefer full strength Bitters.

However, last night as my drinking is being restricted due to the curse of gout, I had a few drinks of Everarads Sunchaser a really nice light summer ale and a nice low 4% ABV. uses lager type malts and hops to good effect.

After a certain age, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead.

Youngs of Wandsworth used to do a truly horrible mild. The pump clip was a real trap for the unwary, as it said "Best Malt Ale". The shire horses at the brewery used to get a couple of pints in their mash every day (presumably because that was the only way to get rid of it). I don't *think* they're still brewing the stuff now. Fullers do a mild called "Hock" on a seasonal basis, so I assume that should be available in their London pubs.
