spinning rod/reel

hi,i fancy having a go at spinning when i am in norfolk so i would like to purchase a rod,reel,lures etc.

i like greys rods but am open to anything dont want a long rod as i will be using it from the back of my boat.i also like the multiplier reels.

budget maybe £100 for the rod and £50 for the reel.

any info would be helpfull

You want a "baitcasting rod" to fish lures with a small multiplier as a "Spinning rod" is designed for use with a fixed spool.

Can't give you any current advice on rods though because all my baitcasting gear is about 5 years old and imported.

The only thing I will suggest is that you reverse your budget and go with £50 for the rod and £100 for the reel.
