We had a party from the Dunelm club, Durham who had never fished before. They hired 10 super kenzaki braid rods from us and caught plenty of fish. Biggest fish was a ling of 15lb exactly with both cod and pollock into double figures.

Good day afloat there Alan with plenty of fish coming aboard, was that last fish a strap conger, looks like one to me

 

That's very observant. I must admit I hadn't noticed it Brian but I think you are right. None of these lads had fished before so wouldn't know either.
