A14 most dangerous road in Britain??

Must have passed you this morning Ferret on my way to Norwich. Saw the signs too.

I was doing a run from Leicester/Uppingham/Norwich(Makro)/St Ives/St Neots/Uppingham/Leicester.

Bloody long 12 hour day, out again tomorrow doing the same sort of run but opposite direction.

West Mids.

 

I didn't realise how nice St Neots is, might have a day fishing down there soon.

Nothing wrong with the A14!!!!!!!!!!

I live VERY near to the end of it in Trimley near Felixstowe.

They highway agency have installed a sign that lights up to tell lorry drivers to slow down as they approach the dock spur roundabout.

Anyone from our area knows not to get on anyside of a lorry on a roundabout.

One local did, the lorry tipped over and squashed his car and he died on the spot.

 

Suffolk is a great place to live, quiet, low crime, low insurance etc etc.

The downside is there are only two major roads the A14 or the A12
