Loch Earn

does anyone know what kind of fish are in loch earn im heading there at the end of the month i know it will be cold i have been there before but i cant seem to find any info on it

Big Brown trout, Huge Ferox trout, Daft Stockie Rainbow Trout, Good Sea-Trout, Big Salmon, The elusive Char, Pike, Perch, Eels, Minnows, Sticklebacks....honestly it's got everything in it.

 

It is the end of the game season. You do know that??

Maybe he's going to fish for coarse species maybe even pike in which case the game season won't apply

are angelers allowed to make feeding pods in the area they are fising in

Hannes, there's a load of information on the forum to keep you right. Loch Earn is much the same as any other glacial water in Scotland. Just type 'Pike' into the search function and you'll get all the information you need.
