BAIT BOAT

Hello

My name is Arnoldas and im 16 years old. I have been fishing from an early age and I enjoy nice trip out to catch some fish.

I wanted to have my own bait boat for ages, but didn't had the money and enough knowledge to start building my own.

I'll share my experience and i'll upload photos throughout the process.

I will also ask some questions about things that I don't understand hoping someone could help. :)

So before I started to do anything,

I researched the internet and gathered some ideas for what to use

and I have decided to use:

Twin hull,

Twin motor design

So first thing that i did is:

1. I took cardboard and cut into a hull shape.

2.Then I added some cardboards on-top to keep the shape as I filled in with Polyurethane foam.

3. Cut and sanded the foam to a hull shape.

4. Added some more foam to fill in the gaps and sanded again.

5. Added paper to smooth and even out sides (because it looked bad :) )

6. Once I've added about 85% around with paper, I filled with Polyurethane foam front and end because it wasn't finished.

Hi and welcome to Anglers' Net. It looks to be an interesting project and well presented.

The photos were too large so I reduced them to 600x450 or 450x600 which will make it easier for folks to see them and will take less time to load for those with slower connections.

Please resize the ones you put on before posting the links. 600 pixels on the largest side is good.
