Fishing at Emberton Country Park Lakes

Hi all,

 

Can anyone vouch if there are many Tench at the Emberton Lakes near Olney? If so, which of the lakes there is best for them?

Been a few years since i bothered fishing (night fishing ban)

but there use to be a good head of tench in most of the lakes there. Just always found i only caught at night there hence why i dont bother anymore.

Do you think I would have a chance if I went early in the morning, like 5 am? which I believe you can do from March at Emberton?
