Hi does any one know of any tope or shark fishing spots in Cornwall? Would any one be able to tell me the best baits or any tips to catch them thanks !

You don't have to go as far as Cornwall, there are plenty of tope and porgies out in the Channel from the Isle of Wight westwards, right round to the Irish Sea and beyond !

 

Have a search on-line for shark-fishing charter boats, book yourself a day out in late summer, tell the skipper you are new to the game, and he will provide the gear and on-the-spot advice. If it is a serious shark-fishing boat, be prepared for some pretty ripe rubby-dubby. Last week's (or even last season's) mackerel etc - dunnarf pongo!

 

You will catch fresh mackerel for your hook bait.

my dads mate has a charter boat and i can go out with him to get sharks if i like but i like the idea of doing it all by my self off shore so much more or a thrill if you know what i meen ?
