Angling employs just a handful of people to run the Governing Bodies and no one directly on campaigning.  Why?  Because there is so little money in angling.

There might be little money in angling, but there is no money in being anti angling.

We have a multi million pound industry, the money should be available.

The antis are just relying on donations or working for free, if you could get every angler to hand over £1 and every shop to give £10 and big companys £100 every year then we would have the funds to fight anything.

I mentioned this in a post a few months ago about the camping and caravan industry in Australia they do a similar thing, and everyone chips in because they ALL benefit.
