i think this is a great idea i absolutely love it.

 

me and andy have witnessed perch following a perch with andys spinner stickin out its gub as he got it closer to the bank, it was really strange behavior as it really did try to take the spinner off the other perch!

I've netted two perch at a time doing the same thing before, Andy! They have a one-track mind when they see another fish with food that they want, sometimes!

While fishing with Andy there, I had several large fish to around 3lbs that had bullied smaller perch that weren't quite hooked. Once the smaller fish dropped the spinner, the bigger perch just inhaled it. I actually started trying to do it deliberately.
