Dungie or Denge

Has anybody been to Dungie or Denge recently?

I am thinking of doing an evening trip down there and was after any up to date info on whats coming off the beach.

Or better still does anyone have any spots that are fishing well? a few sole would be nice

I remember fishing at Denge many years ago and as I walked down the stripping beach top cast I noticed one of those large brown cider bottles laying on the shingle. I thought no more of it until one of my mates asked me if I had seen that shell and pointed to the bottle. I walked down to it and saw that it was an unexploded shell. We wondered if we should leave but figured that if it had been washed around for 20 years or so, it would probably be safe enough for another night so we just made sure that we never kicked it as we were casting or landing fish. We never caught any soles that night which was sad - a wonderful fish are soles.
