RNLI Charter Boat Rescue On Film

You may have heard about a charter boat sinking over the weekend. Here's the RNLI footage of the rescue:

It brings it home to you just what can happen. I have a lot of time for the RNLI people especially when you consider they are nearly all unpaid volunteeres.

I've been in a couple of nasty situations when out boat fishing but luckily not as bad as this one.

 

Having two kids and spending a lot of time in Swanage Dorset where you can get very close to the lifeboats and get to know their crews I think I have now spent enough money in their shop to but another boat for them.

I don't begrudge spending any of it they are all heros in my book!!
