just joined this forum and i was hoping for some info on shore fishing around peurto del carmen

any advice on gear to take,is spinning or plugging any good or on the float?

Welcome to AN, my brother used to fish out there but that was years ago and I'm not sure where he went. When do you go? I am sure someone will have been out there more recently.

Never fished there but have fished on the south coast.

 

worms are available at the shops and can do well. big fish do hang out near the coast and their are a number of european barracuda so plugs etc can work. Most locals float fish using bread pastes, live bait or fish/worm pieces.
