river great ouse earith area

With my new found enjoyment for fishing new rivers in east anglia I find myself studying websites for fishing clubs etc and scouring newspaper sites for sports sections and angling reports.

There are several I am interested in but cannot find much about fishing the great ouse near earith.

The london anglers club have a stretch at bluntisham and as a member find this most interesting. Looking at google earth it seems a fairly large stretch of river with good access in a peacefull area.

Its also only about 50 miles so a reasonable day trip.

So would really like some local info on the venue. Has anyone fished either the LAA bit or somewhere near that area?.

thanks for reading this as always,

regards

Hi John,

Sorry, wish I could help.I live about 20 miles from there but have never fished it.I'm looking for some local pike rivers, so I'd be interested to hear some info too! What are you targeting?

Thanks fours

I am generally a roach, bream chub type angler but do not know what this venue is like. Obviously if it holds good stocks of these then the old toothy creatures will not be far away.
