Got a feeder rod and wanna use it!

Hi all,

I have got a feeder rod now and want to use it.I would like to fish for bream and carp, the only problem is I don't know where to go I live in Oxford. I am considering going to the Shimano Linear complex and if I do could someone please tell me wich lake is best suited to feeder fishing. I would also prefer a grass bank. Any help on anything metioned above would be much apreciated.
