Don't forget that the 'Royal Parks' still operate the statuary 93 day closed season.

When they open on June 16th you'll beed to get a ticket. One place is Hampton Court Palace entrance oposite Bushey Park.

Also TOTAL lead weight ban applies.

I am surprised that The Wall Pond has not been mentioned, If you go into Hampton Court Park from the Kingston gate and walk along the high wall on your right, there is the most wonderful pond, stuffed with big Tench.

I used to look at this one when going pass on the bus - I always thought it looked great for fishing but though it was private.

 

Is fishing allowed or did you get permission from someone?

I used to fish the Wall Pond decades ago and it was included on the Royal Parks Ticket. A quick call to the fishing permit department at Hampton Court Palace should be able to answer your question.
