Anyone own one, been in one, seen one. I`ve been on their website and checked them out thoroughly, but would like to hear from the shop floor about them. Pretty pricey but you do away with trailers and storage is a doddle. They pack down to 4 inches by however long the boat you`ve got.

They (Portabote) are exhibiting at the LAS conference this coming Saturday. Dave Pugh, the LAS magazine editor has a 10ft one which he's just been using in Ireland in some pretty tough conditions. He loves it. He'll be at the conference so you can probably quiz him there, there are one or two other people who have them who'll probably be there too.

Saw one at the NEC go-fishing expo last year.

 

Looked pretty good but i don't really wanna risk sitting in a boat that might just fold up on me (might damage my fishing gear)
