and people ask me why i don't post on here very often anymore!!! Myself, i'm happy when people show an interest in something that i'm interested in and even moreso if it is a youngster or someone who would never have been interested if it hadn't been for me/someone showing them something that grabbed their attention and ignited a spark of interest. The one thing i wouldn't do is to start trying to show them up for making simple mistakes.....(like the false belief that there is no air at the alltitude of the ISS)....anyway that's by the by...from now on i shall endevour to remember the correct term of "the ISS is falling back to Earth but every so often they fire..sorry ..activate the propulsion thrusters on the progress modules to take it back to it's designated orbit" (should i say falling or should i use decaying orbit??)

I drive my mates nuts with my posts on facebook about the ISS and other space associated stuff I have loads of people asking me about good programs for "stargazing", if they've got android then the one i recommend is "droid skyview. As for the ISS, i'm regiestered with nasa for the emails letting me know when it will be visable and all the info of direction time etc I also use this site a lot to help friends find the details for themselves http://iss.astroviewer.net/index2.php As i said to someone last week, it's amazing when you think of 442 tons flying at 17,800 mph at a height of 250 miles (average) above your head going around the world every 90mins...i never get sick of seeing it go over. The next ISS pass that i'll be able to see is at 2243 tonight and i'll be outside hoping to see it...i doubt i'll be out for it's next to passes but if i'm awake i'll go out and have a look On astroviewer if you click the observation tag and then click "change location" you can drag the map to your location (it helps if you zoom in a lot lol) then when you click "apply new location" it will give you the date, time and loads of other info including a map showing where it will be visable from and where it will be when it vanishes!

can i just point out John...........the wels isn't a spanish fish, it's other common name should give the game away....the Danubian catfish I keep forgetting only those who have been here over a decade will know my other name, i'm Trogg the moderator off MD's.....and as i said there's nothing quite as good as a waterpig... carp for a live bait.....3lber and above make good catfish baits though!

lol..i've loved reading this thread i really have First i'd like to point out that my reply was neither sycophantic or any other form of arsecreeping...it was a **** take because of the saddo's who use a pole! I don't fish mud puddles or any kind of commercial anymore i prefer nice big open waters like lakes, reservoirs and those big ponds where the water goes from one side to another...i think they're called rivers. As for carp....nothing more than a nice live bait for a decent Esox or Moggie

to be honest i can't see the use of using Ebay if they are going to advertise it somewhere else!! Try doing that at a real auction, you either drw it from sale before the start or you let it go to auction....Ebay should put a stop to the "for sale elsewhere" type auctions and if anyone does try to sell an item with that in mind then they should ban them for a set amount of time!
