whats the best way to fish kings wier at wormley i cant catch a barbel

Book pegs in the weirpool..West 1 or East 1. Cast out, fall asleep, and your bound to catch one..

unfortunately i've got peg 6 on thursday does this still apply

I spent ten years fishing the river at KW and never bothered with the pool(the fish were bigger in the river than in the pool at the time),if peg 6 is at the tail of the weir then a bait placed where the pool runs out into the actual river is almost guaranteed to be taken at dusk if everything else has failed.
