Anyone fished Becks lake (manor farm)

Just wondering if anyone has fished this lake at Manor Farm Fishing bigglswade.

 

If so please can you give some advise as what swim/swims to fish if possible for bream.

 

I will be visiting the fishery on the weekend and cant get there until that time, so cant check it out or ask local fishermen about it.

 

I have looked at the site and all looks ok, but then it would wouldent it.

Fished it last Friday from the North side (big open area facing island)

Didn't get any bream but the carp responded well to method feeder with vitalin and halibut pellet hookbait. I had a 10lb common and 14lb mirror casting towards the island. Also took a couple of resonable commons close in on red maggot.

Watch out for the pike, they take maggots with a vengeance - as I found out to my cost. Twice lost my feeder rigs to them.

It's a good, well run mixed fishery, but the locals reckon it's getting harder as the water temperature starts to drop.

Have fun, it's a nice spot.

Oh, I forgot, my missus was fishing in the next swim and took a 4lb bream on a single legered halibut pellet - so there are some in there!

Thanks for that piece of info Puzzled. i will be fishing red maggot in a feeder and will also give worm a go.
