Compromise rod - Drennan Series 7 Specialist Avon Quiver

I do realize there is a difference between T.C and rod-action, i usually prefer slow/medium-action rods for all my fishing. My question was more based towards the people who perhaps have fished with the W-wood Rouge Barbel rods :) I'll have to take another look through my closeby tackleshops to see if they could order it in for me.

I've heard alot of great things being said about the Wychwood Rouge Barbel-rods, both for tench and other similar species. I am actually thinking about ordering 2 for myself used for bream method-feeder fishing with bolt-rigs. Wich t.c would you recommend for the above tactics?

2lb Test Curve for those rods with method feeders, very good value for what you're after and perfectly well suited to short/medium range fishing with those tactics.

Choose 1.5oz feeders though or the mini versions, anything heavier will be pushing it a bit!

If you want to use bigger feeders or fish at longer distances then you might want to look at something more specialised like the Drennan or Shimano Bream/Tench rods.
