I want to fish a swim on the River Thames where carp have been crashing and moving around for the last four months, the problem is landing them as there is a nine foot drop to the water. Any ideas on haw I can land them safely.

Thanks for all the info.

I am thinking of getting a small boat to fish the swim, even using a drop net to land a fish may work o.k. but it may still be hard to release it back into the water safely.

So untill I get the boat it's back to Farlows lake to see if I can nick a winter carp or two from there.

Tight lines lads thanks again.

Ken. :)
