An observation.

 

I don't know about other fishing publications, but I've noticed in recent carp publications a little trend.

 

There seems to be a lot of tips and ideas appearing in the carp mags that were previously discussed a couple of months prior on AnglersNet.

 

Maybe a coincidence, maybe not, but it's nice all the same.

I made mention of that a few months ago on here.

 

I noticed that when someone asked a question about a certain style or set up a piece would appear in the comics within a fortnight.

 

I was assured it was just "coincidence" though

In all fairness, any decent journalist in any field will want to research the latest 'hot topics'. Chances are, if something's being discussed here, it will be on quite a few of the busier angling forums, too.

 

I'd say that items appearing in magazines that have appeared on the 'net are an indication that magazines regard the internet as a valid source of information, which can only be good for us who operate sites
