Pike fishing season in Holland????

Can anyone tell me what the dates of the beggining and end of the Pike fishing in Holland are??

 

I am going out later this month to do mainly carp fishing but wouldn't mind a bash at those big toothies either.

Hi Shooter,

I will do some checking for you but from what I have seen there is no off season, most Pike fishing is done during the winter months from what I have seen. I put this down to the fact that Carp are a lot harder to catch in the winter and its bloody cold to boot

 

Are you up to date on licences and local knowledge for the area you are going to fish? If not, let me know and I will check this out as well.

 

Anyone planning to visit Holland for a coarse fishing trip, a word or two of advice. The Dutch have a very large and active fishing licence police unit, the fines are heavy and on the spot. If you can't pay, they take ALL your fishing tackle to the police station until you can.

Most waters are run by clubs so check things out in the local tackle shop first.

 

There is loads more but that should help a bit.
