Well, heres my method/recipe anyway...

 

I take however many slices of bread...usually about 6 or 8.

 

Cut off the crusts.

 

Run a couple of slices quickly under the tap, so they are wet on one side, but not soggy.

 

then get all the bread together and start working it.....breaking and rolling and kneading etc...

 

Eventually it starts to become one.

 

I then add grated cheddar. I find that this not only adds flavour but puts oil into the mixture which helps it bind and become more workable.

 

when my dough is of the right consistency, ie when its uniform and smooth, i sometimes mix some silly bait (red or black) into it adding a little water if the dough becomes too dry.

 

I have had some great success with this paste!
