depends how much digestive weakness the fish has ,how bad its thrush is!and how bad the food allergies are

Seriously though ... one drop per 400gm is enough usually. 10 oz is 284 gm

But if you pack it in a cloth bag and hang it around your neck, you will avoid many of the common diseases you contract from contact with people like colds, flu, etc.

Peter - I had the same thought.

 

I do know it was common among the poorer folk where I grew up but no one ever said exactly why.

 

Given the lovely smell of the stuff, it may repel bad bugs or just other folks who might be carrying bad bugs.

I work in the flavour and fragrance industry and let me tell you this stuff stinks like *hit!!

 

Often refered to as Devil’s Dung, Devil’s Durt.

 

Once played a trick on one of the guys in the labs and put 1 drop on his chair and a drop in the earpeice of his phone and boy did he go wild!

 

Stank the whole lab out for days got hauled over the carpet for it and would probably have got the sack except I had been ther for 15 years and never put a foot wrong.

 

In flavours it is used in very small trace amounts

 

Hardly used in Fragrances asyou would guess not to many people want to smell like a turd!
