  1. Fouynd this not sure if it will help looks a bit technical to me The text in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article is provided so that the site search can find this page. Please click the Knowledge Base link to insure that you are reading the most current information. Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q318650 contains: When you restart your Windows 2000 Server-based computer after you install Windows 2000 Security Rollup Package 1 (SRP1) from the Windows Update Web site, you may receive the following error message: The system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITYSYSTEM. Time before shutdown: 00:00:30 The system process 'C:WINNTsystem32lsass.exe' terminated unexpectedly with status code -1073741819. The system will now shut down and restart. NOTE : The SRP1 update includes the functionality of virtually all Windows 2000 security patches issued since the release of Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2). CAUSE This behavior can occur if the installation of the Windows 2000 SRP1 update is interrupted or has become corrupted. NOTE : This may occur if an antivirus program is running during the installation of SRP1. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, uninstall the Windows 2000 SRP1 update, and then reinstall it from the local hard disk. To do this, follow these steps: Restart Windows in Safe mode. To do this, press F8 after the computer Power On Self Test (POST), and then use the ARROW keys to select Safe Mode on the Windows 2000 Advanced Options menu that appears. Log on to Windows as Administrator, and then start Windows Explorer. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options . Click the View tab, click Show hidden files and folders , click to clear the Hide file extensions for known file types check box, click Apply , and then click OK . Navigate to the following directory location: %SYSTEMROOT%$NtUninstallSP2SRP1$spuninst In the right pane of Windows Explorer, double-click spuninst.exe . Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the removal of Windows 2000 SRP1. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click OK . Windows restarts normally. Log on to Windows as Administrator, and then download the Windows 2000 SRP1 update from the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downl...26redirect%3Dno Click Go , and then click the Network Installation link. Click Save this program to disk , and then click OK . In the Save As dialog box, note the location in which the W2kSP2SRP1.exe file will be saved, and then click Save . When the download is complete, click Close , and then quit all running programs, including any antivirus programs. Double-click the W2kSP2SRP1.exe file that you downloaded. WARNING : Before you install the Windows 2000 SRP1 update, ensure that you have created an Emergency Repair Disk, and that you have a full backup of the computer, including the System State information. Follow the instructions to install the Windows 2000 SRP1 update. 3. n this out of the way village there was an INJIN called "onestone". This was his Indian name because he had only one testicle. After years and years of this torment onestone cracked and said, "If anyone calls me onestone again I will kill them!". The word got around, and nobody called him onestone any more. Then one day a young girl forgot and said, "Good morning onestone." He jumped up, grabbed her and took her deep into the forest, where he shagged her all day, he shagged her all night, he shagged her all the next day, until she died from exhaustion. The word got around that onestone meant business. Years went by until a woman returned to the village after many yearsa way. She was overjoyed when she saw onestone and hugged him and said, "Good to see you onestone." Again, onestone grabbed her and took her deep into the forest where he shagged her all day, shagged her all night, shagged her all the next day, shagged her all the next night, but she wouldn't die! What is the moral of the story? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > You can't kill two birds with one stone.

    asafoetida

I work in the flavour and fragrance industry and let me tell you this stuff stinks like *hit!! Often refered to as Devil’s Dung, Devil’s Durt. Once played a trick on one of the guys in the labs and put 1 drop on his chair and a drop in the earpeice of his phone and boy did he go wild! Stank the whole lab out for days got hauled over the carpet for it and would probably have got the sack except I had been ther for 15 years and never put a foot wrong. In flavours it is used in very small trace amounts Hardly used in Fragrances asyou would guess not to many people want to smell like a turd!

  13. I had a lovely fairly large silver shark in one of my many tanks which was a beutiful fish. Had it for about 3 years and it even lived through 2 house moves. Any way one day at work I had a phone call from the Missus "you have got to come home there is a mouse under the cupboard etc" after |I told her she was bonkers and that there wa no way I was coming home I put the phone down. About 2/3 days later ( as I only fed every 2/3 days as my tanks were so established that there was plenty of food in there for them to scavenge for)I noticed that my shark was missing and searched all through the tank but could not see it I thought it must have popped its clogs and a couple of the cat fish have hoovered it up. About 12 months later when I moved my tank yes you guessed it I found it under the cupboard it had jumped out of the tank and that was what my good lady had thought was a mouse!!! The poor thing was struggling for life and my wife let it die!!! Forgave her in about 6 months So KEEP THE LID ON!!!!
  14. Would agree with Yoxer kept both Fresh and salties in my youth. My advice would be to try keeping a fresh water tank first for a while and then do a lot of reading before you make the plunge. It aint so bad if you lose a few guppies because you make a mistake also aint that expensive, but get it wrong in a marine tank and it can really hurt your wallet
