Looks like a cracking deal there. My sony ericcson phone has a 5mp camera and thats what i use for most of my pictures, especially of the fish in the net. I do have a digital camera my granddad gave to me when he got a new one, i keep this in its case in my seat box if i ever want to take a picture of a pb or anything

As famous fisherman John Gierach once said "I used to like fishing because I thought it had some larger significance. Now I like fishing because it's the one thing I can think of that probably doesn't."

Congrats! The Canon G-series is a proven performer.

Another interesting camera is the Nikon Coolpix 8400 (flip screen, super-wide-angle lens, 8MP and a „grippable” body).
