Hi David,

I live in Cumbria so am close to the lake district waters (Windermere, Coniston etc). Often see people diving in these lakes (I'm a certified diver myself but haven't braved the cold waters in the lakes). Would say they would be good as they drop off into deep water very quickly. There's also plenty of big Pike, Perch and Roach around and the waters very clear. Could be worth a visit?
