Improving dark pics

Took a couple of dusk shots of some mink tonight, using my Blackberry. Not great, and all I can see are the eyes.

 

I know it's a long shot but is there any software which could help? I already tried adjusting brightness & contrast with iPhoto plus, but no joy.

There may be something that can be salvaged in photoshop, I have CS5 e-mail me a copy of the original file and I will have a go for you, as it is a shot from your phone the one thing that will be against it will be the file size.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

 

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.
