Lovely picture, and I've not seen one of those before, just the 'normal' oystercatcher.

What a great picture that is Clifftop Are they as noisy as ours in the UK - they can be deafening at times. Was repeatedly dive bombed by one this summer as must have been too close to its nest. Oh yes I got out of there double quick !!!

 

Took a picture of this lot in Loch Ryan back in 2008. Have never seen so many together at one time

Thanks Guys, John i think the most i have seen together is about six and don't recall them being noisy.
