Going offline - back in a short while (hopefully!)

Hi Guys,

 

Well I managed to totally destroy Windows XP

 

After hours on the help lines, it all seems to be working again (complete rebuild!)

 

Fingers crossed!!!

 

Now I've got loads and loads and loads of emails to catch up on

 

A few years ago, I managed to write off my Volvo. I was amazed at how dependent our family had become on having a car available.

 

Now I'm amazed at how dependent we have become on having a PC and a connection to the Internet.

 

Brenda swaps documents with her colleauges (she's a teacher). My daughter Ila is back from Uni tomorrow, and needs a working PC for her course work. Brenda is organizing a reunion with old school friends who are now scattered world-wide, and I use it quite a bit too!!

 

I'd sooner be without the car!

 

Oh well, back to that backlog of emails.
