Me and the wife were having a fine dining experience at our exclusive country club when this stunning young woman comes over to our table, gives the me a big kiss, says she'll see me later and walks away.

 

The wife glares at me and says, "Who was that?!"

 

"Oh," say's I, "she's my mistress."

 

"Well that's the last straw," says the wife. "I've had enough, I want a divorce. I am going to hire the most aggressive, meanest divorce lawyer I can find and make your life miserable."

 

"I can understand that,"I reply,"but remember, if we get a divorce it will mean no more wintering in Key West, or the Caribbean, no more summers in Tuscany, no more Jaguar XJS in the garage, and no more country club, and we'll have to sell the 26-room house and move to two smaller homes, but the decision is yours."

 

Just then, a mutual friend entered the restaurant with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.

 

"Who's that with Jim?" asks the wife.

 

"That's his mistress," says I.

 

She replies,

 

"Ours is prettier."

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))
