Hi all, came across your forum whilst browsing the web and thought I'd join.

I've been angling for a few years now, mostly pleasure angling, but would like to increase my catch rate.

I typically use bread and luncheon meat as bait on both feeder and pole and this generally gives mixed results, don't know if it's my bait presentation that's letting me down but what works on one lake doesn't always seem to get results on another.

Anyway I'll enjoy trawling through some threads.

I don't think anyone has ever found a bait/rig/tactic combination that will work on all waters or on all days. I've been at it over 65 years and I know I haven't.

thanks for the response, sometimes it's just getting out fishing that's more important than the final catch (at least that's what I tell myself after a quiet day )
