Wychwood Lightweight Chair

Hi, I have one of the above chairs, which is great for carrying distances, but of late the locking mechanisms on the extendable legs has started to fail. I've had a look at the mechanism but can't see a way of fixing the problem. Has anybody come across the same problem?I did send Wychwood an email but got no reply.Other than bin it and purchase a new chair [different make] I don't know what to do. If I decide to purchase a new one, any recommendations? Cheers, Steve.

I've come across a similar problem with mine; nearly lost the leg a few times. It's fine in use, but the leg extension piece won't lock in place when it's folded and slides back out when you're not looking!

Have you tried sanding the side of the leg where the metal bites together or if not possible turning the leg through 90 degrees so it bites on fresh metal
