I have brought some pellets but at the moment they are all floaters and hard, is the best way to make them hookable and to sink to soak them in water. If yes how long do you soak them for.

I got feed up with all that soaking and bought a bait pump.

 

I can take a handfull of pellet give them a good pumping (and also add flavours that get sucked right into the bait as the oxygen is sucked out) and use them as soft pellets 10 mins later.

 

I use ringer expander pellets as hookbaits and a mix of various 2,3 and 4mm hardpellets that have been slightly softened in water as feed pellets.
