elton as a assistant manager with Lloyds TSB perhaps im a bit biased.after 21 years my thought is that a bank is only as good as it's manager.lloyds are going to a new sevice for buisness soon looks ok you can choose how much contact to have with the manager a pay accordingly.if you want to e mail any questions happy to help.now can i post details of the millions you've got stashed away.cheers big al

If Nationwide are so Good how come they haven't thrown any money to their customers like the Other ex B Societies. My Luck all the dosh in NW, no handouts!

The advantage of Nationwide is that it is still a building society and not another flaming bank. Nationwide (ex Co-op Building Society) is mutual and long may it remain so. The loss of mutuality is like selling off the family silver. People have been ripping off the assets for their own short term benefit and not acknowledging the debt they own to their forebears, for their foresight, and the duty they owe their children.

 

When times get tough, and they will, all these "new" banks will be much tougher on late paying clients than the mutuals. Then people will be able to see the folly of their ways.

Hi Guys, what annoys me most about the online banking out here is their web sites. You stand a good change of dying of old age before their bloody logos and marketing orientated crap uploads and you the customer has to foot the bill for the call

To be fair to the banks a lot of the delay in loading such a site can be caused by the creation of a high security connection.

 

When done properly this is really quite computationally expensive ... thus the delay.
