So we're talking about lakes & pits open in the Closed Season for rivers, but non-carp venues ...

Now if you had given more notice I would have seen it.

 

But in case it helps here are a few for the notebook.

 

Ardleigh res for the wide open spaces

 

A couple of small lakes/ big ponds in the Earls Colne and Wakes Colne area.

 

Quite a bit of LAA water along the Stour.

 

Some very popular waters around Braintree.

 

Then there are the Paxtons Waters ( some popular water out near Wix).

 

Around Colchester there are a number of pits turned over to fish but access is a bit hard (Brightlingsea)
