GOOD NEWS: Canada has offered to help the U.S. in the war on Iraq. They have pledged 2 battleships, 6000 troops and 10 fighter jets.

 

BAD NEWS: With the current exchange rate, that comes out to 2 canoes, a Mountie, and a couple of flying squirrels!

I would have thought the bad news was that they will be going to war with the U.S.. Maybe if they paint themselves, their canoe and the squirrels dayglo orange they might have a chance of avoiding the "friendly" fire!

That could work. But I think Red Coats would be more likely to keep them safe from Friendly Fire. Especially if they also had nice, bright brass buttons on them. :)

 

Something like this maybe? I have read that at one time, we found these very easy to spot.
