Unhooking mat

I too am in need of new matt. Mine is too small for carp fishing and old, think I've had it apx 6years now.

I'm fishing for mainly carp. How ever I fish with my granddad who fish for pike and bream, plus I'm getting allot of 4-6lb breams on my carp set up.

I was thinking about getting "JRC XL High Care Mat" ( http://www.jrcproducts.com/index.php?page=...00b-051&p=3 ) or maybe "Chub extra protection mat" ( http://www.chubfishing.com/514-Snooper_Xtr...ection_Mat.html ). I just wanted to know what ones good for both small and large fish, because I'm finding these breams don't like to stay still for long and I had a bad experience this gone weekend with a 4-5lb bream. When I turned for a sec while holding my hand down to keep it still, the fish had started flapping about and slipped though my hand and onto the bank then flapped it self off bank into the water, where there was some small rocks around. So I relay would think it be best if I got one with a wall around the mat.

So any votes to what I should get or different one? under £60 if possible.

As per my other thread posting, I use and recommend the JRC XL one. There others around, but when I was looking last year that was the best on the market, in terms of both size and best fish protection.
