Hi, I'm a new member, just like to say hello.

Have taken up fishing after a break of 15 years. I can no longer find my favourite type of float which is an Ultra Weighted Onion.

They went from about 100mm to about 200mm long, weighted at the bottom and required very little shot e.g. 4 No4's for one about 150mm long. They are brilliant when it's windy and a ripple on the water.

If you post in the coarse section asking about that float, most likely someone can either tell you where to find something identical or a reasonable replacement.
