Does anyone know where I can download a (preferably free), programme to allow me to write letter.

 

I have XP Home and that means Notepad and WordPad.

Both I use for other purposes, but I need something for standard letter writing.

Hi Cranfield

 

WordPad would enable you to write a perfectly good letter, including formatting etc. If you want a fully featured word processor (and office package) for free then take a look at http://download.openoffice.org/index.html aims to be all that MS Office is, but free.

Thanks Nick, much appreciated. :)

 

I currently use WordPad for standard text documents and have serious problems changing the margins over, for normal letter layouts.

This is not a fault of WordPad....its me.
