help on rigs

orite , just a quick question well a few question

* what is the best rigs set up for pier

* beach

* boat !

* float

just because i have been using the small plastic booms with some crimps one 10 inch up and the other near the weight

Any help would be nice thanks

I would select rigs for species rather than where you fish. Generally keep them simple. Beeds etc are useful for flounder otherwise I would avoid them as I would booms etc. Keep your rigs simple and uncluttered and you wont go far wrong one significant thing is a good sharp hook.

 

A pulley is a good all round rig as is a simple 2 hook flapper.

 

Dont be fooled into thinking you need fancy rigs - you dont. Pay more attention to baits, bait presentation and fishing at the right place at the right time.
