Have a look at these Hake, they are very light weight and split down and fits inside most large hatches. They work really well over sand and through small scrub. :cool:

And so they should at that price $225! .After a couple of failed home made attempts I bought the eckla scupper trolley for £60(kayaks & paddles,Plymouth) and wish I'd done so earlier.Big pneumatic tyres and a great fold down system(though set up they fit on the front hatch of the P13 nicely)I use mine with a bungy wrapped around the kayak/trolley,have used it on sand ,mud and even small steps(carefully,don't want to damage those scuppers) and it's great!
