  1. Hi Moonyaker, Like I said before, Andrew (OKREALLY) will be better answering this, I assume that the P15 is gone,,hence the 4,5 it kinda makes sense,, long live the P15 If removing it for good is fixing it, then its still recognition of the problem, and unfortunatley it has been going on for quite some time. Don't forget the P15 is made in the USA and the Elite 4.5 in New Zealand,, the Americans are not getting the Elite at the moment. According to someone I spoke to the other day, it will be too big a threat for the sales of the P15. I suspect that will not always be the case,, its too good a Kayak to keep all to ourselves Happy Fishing Mate I have gone back through a lot of posts and the Prowler 15 got a similar type of bashing, but now OK have removed the model from the range, not replaced it, removed it. I think that takes big kahunnas, thats real recognition of a problem and now they have fixed it, or are attempting to,, Andrew would be better at answering this.
  2. I agree that this thread has run its course, but I will add, That I think in this day and age if a manufacture / distributor / retailer can inform or warn, Make aware any problems that can go wrong with the product that they are selling, Show the general public what they are doing to fix it, then surely this can only be a good thing. I do not think Chevin with his post was telling Niko that the Kayak that he has got will give him problems, lets face it the Scupper's take the most bashing,, we drop them from our cars, we drag them across the beach the ground,,our kids jump up and down on them, we get fatter while drinking lots of beer while trying to catch the one that got away "So surely prevention while recognising the potential problem is the cure" You read far to often in life the lack of help or commitment, "thats" when there should be an assination of someones post, not when the post is trying to be constructive. There are too many people out there who are arm chair critics and are too quick to bring a product down, any product," if only they were that quick to praise". In this case 99% of the people in this thread for an example, would not know what a Malibu Kayak was if it paddled along side them and bit them on the ass I have gone back through a lot of posts and the Prowler 15 got a similar type of bashing, but now OK have removed the model from the range, not replaced it, removed it. I think that takes big kahunnas, thats real recognition of a problem and now they have fixed it, or are attempting to,, Andrew would be better at answering this. Niko Great to see that you have eventually got your X-Factor and the first Malibu on the water in the British Isles, Stuart does not count,,, and I am sure it will not be the last Malibu you go paddling with. "Lets Fish"
  3. Well done Elton it looks great, really user friendly. Thanks
  4. Great Idea Chuggs, this will stop the wife moaning everytime I scrape the roof of her Shogun. "The simple things in life are often the best"
  5. Bring it on Common Good luck mate
  6. I have it on good advice that Malibu Fishing Kayaks will soon be available to buy in the UK long with its full range of COD accessories. Lots of this stuff Jon sells at KFS, so you will know its quality. See them down at Haywards Heath, 1-2 Oct.
  7. http://www.fishyak.com/wheels.html Have a look at these Hake, they are very light weight and split down and fits inside most large hatches. They work really well over sand and through small scrub.
  8. What about the good old fashion Prawn, always a Bream favourite.
  9. Hi Goose, I have just read that the New range of Malibu Fishing Kayaks are about to hit the UK, and will be at the South of EnglandAgriculture show in Haywards Heath. These Kayaks are hardcore, and are designed for fisherman by fishermen, they have a Tandem called the Pro 2 "Fish and Dive" and it doe's what it says on the label, ha ha!! If your wife is paranoid about going out on the water on a SOT then she should tryout one of these, they have fantastic stability, and a massive carrying payload of 250KG, and only weighs about 29KG. Have alook for yourself mate, I have pasted a few links that I found on the Fishyak site. Goodluck. http://www.fishyak.com/photopro2.html http://www.fishyak.com/protandem.html http://www.fishyak.com/riggedtandem.html
  10. Anyone who wants to get involved and serious about Kayak Fishing, needs to go and see what the Malibus are all about, they are awesome. I Fish and and scuba dive from and X-Factor, the stability is unpresedented, and its great to have a dry backside after 3-4 hours of fishing, check their seat out for comfort. I got rid of my Ocean Kayak for one of these.
  11. That was awesome, "nature throwing it right back at you I guess".
